Annette Gracy Juba, LCSW, is a clinical social worker in Austin, TX, and received a Master of Science degree in Social Work from the University of Texas. She has worked with older adults since 1986, when she took a part-time job in a nursing home, only, she thought, until she "found something better." In 20+ years of searching, she has facilitated caregiver support groups; worked with dementia respite programs; co-directed a cognitive intervention program for people with early memory loss; and worked as a staff social worker in nursing homes. She is now firmly convinced that there is nothing better than working with older adults and their families! Currently, Annette is the Deputy Director Programs for AGE of Central Texas, where she oversees the agency's five programs of direct service.
