Assisted Living
Good assisted living communities provide the everyday help your parents need while allowing them to maintaining the independence they desire. But assisted living is far from cookie cutter. Care options, living arrangements, activities and amenities vary from community to community.
When you contact us at SeniorCare.com, one of our expert referral agents will talk with you about what your parents want from a community. We understand that each of our clients is unique, and we focus on personalized, high-quality referrals.
The referral agent may ask about things such as:
- The level of care your parents need. What do they need now, and what might they soon need? Some communities also specialize in dementia care or have wings dedicated to residents who need that.
- What kind of living arrangements your parents would like best. For example, does a friendly apartment complex or a cozy house fit them better?
- What activities and excursions your parents are interested in. Fulfilling group activities help ensure a better quality of life. We can see what the communities are offering right now.
- Cost. What can your parents afford? (The referral agent can also tell you whether Medicaid will pay for assisted living in your parents’ state.)
- Location. Is the community near friends and family? Is that important? Could a different neighborhood offer cheaper options with the same quality of care?
We maintain constantly updated information about each of the high-quality assisted living communities we’ve gotten to know. You’ll get the most accurate answers from us so you can make the best decision.
And don’t worry. Referrals are always free and confidential. We never give companies information about you without your consent.
